Classic Media

I'm almost 30, and I'm still interested in a lot of the same stuff I was into when I was a 5-year old, such as dinosaurs, robots, superheroes, ninjas, and badass-ed-ness.

Take Aim!

Now that our daughter is 8 weeks old, she's "leveled up", and has gained some new abilities", like looking at us in the eyes, being able to hold up her head pretty well, smiling ( and not just because she has gas), and being alert and awake more and more often. All of which are awesome to see, but the latter development has made it much more difficult to draw this strip on a regular basis.
I'm not complaining or anything (well, publicly, anyhow); I just want it to be known I have a genuine excuse for living my life without thoroughly documenting it. Of course, no one was emailing me threatening letters and demanding that I return to my drawing board to crank out some scribbles, anyhow... but, my point remains!
In other non-news, if you're friends with me on Facebook, you've probably already seen these pics of Kennedy (which were taken by our friend, Kelly Lawson), but if not, here's my little girl;

The 11th Hour
The episode actually premiered in Britain sometime around the beginning of the month, but premiered on BBC America last night. I could have watched it on the internet (and a few of the subsequent episodes that have aired since then), but I really wanted to watch it on my Mother-in-Law's big ass, HD television, and enjoy it. I'm also pretty proud of myself for managing to stay away from any of the big spoilers, especially considering I follow a 'Doctor Who' blog ( I scrolled past anything written about the new series, whenever I came across it).I drew this strip yesterday, but wasn't able to post it until right now. So, you're thinking, "Did you watch the episode? What did you think of it?" Well, watching TV with an infant child means that if you're lucky enough to have a DVR system, you utilize it, pausing every time she's crying, or needs a diaper change, etc. So, as of this morning, I've only watched (maybe) 1/3 of the episode... but, so far, so good!
PS This is the second time I have accidentally made a strip with a title that I've already used (in a previous strip), but in my defense, I only named this one the 'the 11th Hour' because that's the name of the first episode of the 5th "Doctor Who" season... so, get off my back!

Completely "Lost"
It's really hard for me to remember what the hell is happening on "Lost".When we first started watching the show, the first season or so was already on DVD, so we watched it via 'Netflix', and we were hooked. From around that point, we watched it week to week, and did our best to keep all the mysteries and clues straight (with Shannon clearly having the upper in every area related to memory). Then they had that giant period of time where the writer's strike was taking place, which was where I had just enough time to essentially forgot everything that was happening within the show, and to start focusing on other shows, such as Dr.Who. I watched most of Season 5 (of Lost, I mean), but dropped off at the end, and decided to just wait until the series finishes. But...
Although I managed to go a couple of months without having the ending of Battlestar Galactica spoiled before I watched it, Lost is probably way too popular for me to get away with that again. So, I jumped back in and watched the last 2 episodes of Season 5, right before viewing the newest episode when it aired the other week. But, there's probably no way I would have been able to figure out some semblance of what-the-hell was going on if I hadn't watched the summary video on "Youtube".

New Year, New Hangover
Ug... Hangovers seem much harder to get over these days. I told my friend, Matt, that maybe it had something to do with drinking less nowadays. He said that when you drink alot, hangovers aren't quite so bad because you're used to constantly feeling like shit, so its kinda normal. And vice versa if you only drink casually/occasionally.I don't know, but its a good theory.
