INTERLUDE: Panda vs. Robot, and other stuff

Well, school has started once again, which means I'll be attempting to post one strip a week during my hectic schedule. But, until next week's installment, here's some random stuff I drew in the lull that is the first week of the semester.

Classic Media

I'm almost 30, and I'm still interested in a lot of the same stuff I was into when I was a 5-year old, such as dinosaurs, robots, superheroes, ninjas, and badass-ed-ness.

Random Sketches and whatnot

I just started the new school-semester last week, so I don't expect to be making many posts in the immediate future. However, I was trying to go through some papers that had piled up in our home office, and I found a couple of drawings in a sketchbook that I'd forgotten:

The robot one was an idea for a T-Shirt design that I abandoned, but colored in photoshop, regardless.

The sketch below it was probably drawn out of boredom, back when I had the time to be bored.

And, if you have a hankering to see more of my bad drawings, I recently contributed to the "Repaneled" blog, here, and redrew a weird panel from Jack Kirby's "Fourth World".

Scott Pilgrim vs. Optimus Prime

No new sequential art for today, but I did draw this sketchcard of Bryan Lee O'Malley's "Scott Pilgrim" taking out a Transformer, so, uh, ...yeah.

Pulmo-Droid

Man, I've been sick since last Wednesday, and I'm only really starting to recover now. Ug.

If you're at all curious about the long and sordid chronology of the last band I was in, 'Parkway Wretch', you should read the newly updated bio for the band here. It's funny, and amazingly thorough!

"Brad, the one man damned" flier

I like making fliers, sometimes. This one was a huge pain in the ass, but I like how it came out.
