A Touch too Much

The weirdest part of this comic is that I seem to be implying that there is an acceptable amount of touching one's genitalia in public that should be deemed acceptable...

Transit Ogre with a Nose Goblin

As you can see, our daughter has yet to be born, so I'm still riding the train to work everyday, surrounded by college kids and people such as the one depicted above.

Here are a couple of the new sketchcards I made the other day ( featuring the "Savage Dragon", and the "Batman from Zur-En-Arrh", in case you didn't know the characters). The colors look a little washed because the scanner doesn't always pick up color pencils when they're done lightly. I haven't added these to the blackmarker store as of yet because, well, no one has bought the other ones, so I'm not in too big of a rush.

The Incredible Brad!

Here's another short story I've been working on in my spare time ( although technically, everything I draw is in my spare time since I don't do this for a living! ). I'll post a link to the finished piece whenever-the-hell I finish it, but for now, here's the first five pages.

Playing Dress-Up

I drew this on New Year's day, but it took me until now to finish it ( because of work, a couple various little parties after work, mine and Shannon's 'anniversary' of when we started dating, and two 'Doctor Who' TV specials all stood in the way of me inking this strip). Still, some pretty neat stuff to distract me from my usual routine!

Intuition

I tried to come up with a hip, up and coming, trendy, mainstream, pseudo-"punk" band to draw on her t-shirt, but I'm unfamiliar with most of those newer groups, so I just fell back on a 'Rancid' jab.

The Poor get Poor-er

It was only recently, a few months ago, that I started buying any monthly comics again (and that was after a 6 or 7 year floppy-buying hiatus). And, I wasn't buying a whole goddamn stack of the things, just a couple of titles I was interested in ( I was purchasing the "Blackest Night" main title, "Flash: Rebirth", and whenever I got around to it, "Wednesday Comics"). Unfortunately, our budget has had to be pared down significantly since Shannon was laid off, and now that she's pregnant, we have to stretch my meager paycheck to the breaking point.

I'm bitching, but I know it could always be worse, so I'm content that there is still a roof over our heads, and a few packages of Ramen in the pantry!
