I drew this a few days ago, and I thought to myself, "This isn't funny, it's just sad! I'm a sad, sad man... I should quit drawing this comic strip because I'm not funny, I'm just sad."
Shannon came up with the concept for this strip while we were watching our daughter move around and twitch a little as she slept. Seriously though, what could a baby be dreaming about?
A six-panel comic strip really can't encompass everything that happened within that 18 hr. period (yes, I said "18 hours"!), but I had to draw about it. If you'd like to read a couple of paragraphs about the experience, you can check out Shannon's blog. That being said, I don't think words OR pictures could ever do it justice!
I don't even know if I can say anything to really express how awesome seeing the ultrasound was! It's pretty amazing, and I'm stoked to have a daughter. Shannon is 20 wks pregnant, and I'm way more excited about it than I ever thought I would be.
