Intro to Introversion

My apologizes to Jalipaz for drawing him in way that resembles a young Alan Moore. I don't do character sketches for the strip, so the people I draw have a 50/50 chance of actually looking similar to how they look in the real world.

Good dude, but ya gotta admit... that's kinda a weird thing to say. Of course, I'll be happy to eat my words if and when he shows up to work with a utilitarian, 'Star Trek'-esque device that translates Klingon to English!

I think I'm going to start coloring all of the new strips that I post, since this is pretty much the only way I'll ever see it done (black and white mini-comics are much cheaper to print).

Still Awkward, After all these Years

All kidding aside, I really like the new "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" cartoon that's airing on Cartoon Network (I don't have cable right now, so I have to watch it on youtube!). I mean, I've always liked seeing the dark, justice driven Batman that we've had since Frank Miller debuted 'The Dark Knight Returns', but its nice to have a program that gives us a Caped Crusader that's not such a prick!

While I'm on the Frank Miller & Batman subject, I read some of 'All-Star Batman and Robin' while I was at Barnes and Noble yesterday, and I have to say, I fucking hate it. I've thrown whatever trust I put in that writer right out the window.
