Working Late

Always good to come back from a short hiatus with a poop joke, am I right?

Anyways, if you were at all curious as to why I hadn't posted any new strips recently, it was because I was cheating on "Epic Tales..." with another webcomic of my design, which is called "Record Heat". The new strip is remarkably similar to this one, except that  it will be focusing on the music scene in and around Phoenix, AZ, and will run weekly on the Phoenix New Times music blog. I'm about four strips deep into it now, so hopefully that will give me enough lead time that there won't be any interruptions in the scheduled posting once it debuts ( as is prone to happen with this webcomic! ). So, uh, that's going on.

How's school going, you ask? Well, it's okay. Here's an example of what my notes for my classes look like;

Bodily Malfunctions

My neck is slightly better today, but still really, really stiff. It was a little sore yesterday morning, but I think I sprained it at some point when I took Kennedy swimming, and after that it was pure agony.

Man, you know you're REALLY out of shape when you sprain a muscle while sleeping.

Breath of Relief

It's been a little more difficult to keep up with the strip lately, but I'm going to try to put more effort into drawing more often than I have in recent times.

Too Much Coffee

Seriously, though; I drink my coffee while I ride the train to work in the morning, and nearly crap my pants at least 3 times a week. Apparently, my super power is to narrowly avoid the embarrassment of filling my drawers with poop.

I just realized that my bag magically disappeared in the third panel... there must have been some particularly disgusting fumes to disintegrate it!

Bronchitis, Asthma, and Poop

Yeah, so it's been a couple days since I last posted, but up till now, I haven't had the willpower to sit at my drawing table long enough to draw a strip. Somehow or another, I got bronchitis, and whenever I start coughing, I have an asthma attack. So, I've barely been able to walk across the apartment without nearly losing consciousness since about Wednesday of last week. I'm a little better today, but I probably won't be running any marathons anytime soon.

Work Humor

Its been a while since I've gotten around to doing a strip and posting it here, but there's been alot of stuff happening lately;My cat was sick, my Grandma is sick, my Mom came down to visit and be with my sick Grandma, I've been working on other people's comics, recording 'folk' music on my computer, etc., etc. And, now I'm gonna be away from here again!

Today, Shannon and me are picking up a rental car, driving to Riverside and staying the night there, and then, Friday, we'll be in Reno, watching the "Scared of Chaka" reunion (as well as a performance by the 'Bananas')! Okay, I'm out.
