Trying to Impress the Indie-Comix-Girl

I should really try to figure out how to draw girls to look different than how I draw Shannon; The girl in this strip just looks like Shannon wearing a disguise.

Anyways, here's a link to where I posted my "Free Comic Book Day" comic online, so go read that shit!

Mainstreaming

I read a lot of comics, up until 7th or 8th grade. I dropped off for a long time, but still read a couple comics here and there, once in a while. By the time I was in high school, the only comics I read were the ones I already owned, but I was still interested enough in the events and storylines in superhero comics to have had a subscription to "Wizard" (the comics magazine).

Nowadays, I read plenty of comics on a regular basis (indie and mainstream alike), and get my nerd-news by listening to a shitload of comics podcasts every day (which include, but are not limited to, Indie Spinner Rack, Around Comics, Comic Geek Speak, iFanboy, 11 o'Clock Comics, etc., etc.)

Yep.
