This strip originally appeared in the September/October 2015 edition of the "COMICS NEVER STOP" newspaper.
Just so I don't offend anyone's craft with this one, I DO understand that comedians have to revise and refine jokes as they're shaping their set; What I'm trying to say is regardless of that, they do get an immediate reaction from the crowd, whereas I draw these little strips and cast them into the ether of the interwebz, sometimes getting a response, but usually not. Wah for me.
I look at this strip now, years later, and all I can I think is , "I can't believe we still have the same computer. This thing is ancient, now!" Hopefully, once I get my student aid for this semester of school, we'll be able to get a new tower, and leap into 2011, technologically speaking. Besides, it's sort of necessary when you consider that I'm trying to get a degree in Digital Illustration.
I'm not very happy with the way this came out, art-wise. I feel like I rushed through drawing this strip a little too much... dammit.
I thought about apologizing for not having a new strip up sooner, but then I thought, "Why the hell should I apologize? I have to take time outta my day for this stupid comic! Screw them! Screw everyone!!!" And in order to calm down, I downed a handfull of prozac with a swallow of 'Wild Turkey' and listened to some orchestral music, until the sweet embrace of sleep enveloped me and my mind drifted off into the dreamscape.
Y'know, writer's block is a terrible thing... probably an even worse thing for me and how I make comics than for others. I usually have a general idea of where I'm headed with a story, but I detest writing scripts, and prefer to work page-to-page. Unfortunatly, sometimes I get stuck, and I have to walk away from a project and come back to it later in order to get some perspective. In the case of the story referenced in the above strip, perhaps it would be better if I just pushed on through the creative rut. At least then I wouldn't leave the train of the thought I'd been pursuing.

The show was @ the Trunk Space, in Phoenix. Rumspringer, Parkway Wretch, and Off with their Heads all played sets, and it was all over by 11:00PM, which is a good time for a show to be over. Good stuff.
That's right, kids; I have pretty good idea where you are!!! But, I'm pretty sure 'Google' and all the other search engines are keeping far more tabs on the internet addresses you frequent than little 'ol me, so keep that in mind before you shudder at MY diabolical-ness!
