Education?

It'd be great if she really did learn Japanese, because later in life, people would ask her how she came to learn the language, and she'd say something, like, "Well, my dad was really into Godzilla movies..."

A Simple Life

It's been pretty awesome staying home with Shannon and the baby during my paternity leave, doing the house-husband gig of cooking and cleaning, and just watching my daughter grow day by day, but it's about time to "bring home the bacon", yet again. I went in to work yesterday, and will go a few more times this week, but next week, it's back to the daily grind (and probably a lot less drawing time). Don't get me wrong, I have a cool job; My boss is an understanding guy, I like my co-workers, and there are a lot of perks... but, it's not what I wanna do with my life, so to me, it's just a paycheck.

Big Screen

I know it seems weird to most people, but I really enjoy riding the lightrail to work; I get to read comics, listen to music, or pencil comic strips (such as the one above), all of which make the fact that I'm on my way to work a much more bearable concept.

I drew this yesterday, and last night we went and saw the aforementioned movies, and both were much better than I expected, and were just what I wanted to see at a drive-in movie.
